Camp of Dreams is a wonderful opportunity to share in a week of love, laughter and fun with some very special children from the FANA orphanage in Bogotá, Colombia.

The children who participate in Camp of Dreams are older and their futures even more uncertain than many of the other children at FANA. As orphans continue to age, their chances of being adopted decrease significantly and their dreams of finding a family begin to fade. In Colombia, when an orphan reaches the age of 16, they lose all forms of institutional aid and are no longer under the care of the government. The mission of Camp of Dreams is to connect these children with the families that have been dreaming of them, too.

Camp of Dreams is held at the Ona Orth Ministry Center in Shoreview, Minnesota. The Center’s picturesque campus is nestled on the shores of Snail Lake providing visitors with natural beauty and peaceful surroundings.

Together, with area families considering adoption, the children will share in a uniquely-Minnesota camp experience that will include delicious food, arts and crafts, outdoor recreation and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bond with families and friends. Camp of Dreams runs from November 21 to December 2, 2013.
